Jared Howell

Hi, I’m Jared — husband to Sarah, dad to three fantastic kids, and one half of Howell Made Media. Our family is a huge part of who I am, and I’m grateful every day for the life we’re building together here in Northeast Ohio.
I’ve called Lorain County and the greater Northeast Ohio area home for much of my life, with a few seasons spent in Sacramento and Dallas along the way. Outside of work, I love a good cup of coffee, exploring new coffee shops with Sarah, and traveling whenever we get the chance. Some of my favorite places so far have been Scotland, Rome, Sedona, and major cities throughout the U.S. — with Sedona holding a pretty special spot at the top of the list. I also carry around a truly unnecessary amount of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings trivia in my brain, which tends to make its way into conversation more often than it probably should.
My love for photography and video started back in high school and college, when I was constantly borrowing friends’ cameras and looking for anything worth capturing. That curiosity eventually turned into family and wedding photography, and over time, I found my place in commercial videography and photography. More than 15 years later — and more than 5 years established in Northeast Ohio — I’m still thankful to spend my days building relationships, telling meaningful stories, and creating compelling media for businesses and organizations throughout the region.

SARAH Howell
Lead Squarespace Designer
Hi, I’m Sarah — Squarespace website designer at Howell Made Media.
One of the things I value most about our work is that Howell Made Media is truly a partnership. Jared and I bring different strengths to the table, but we share the same goal: to serve our clients with thoughtful, high-quality creative work throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond. As a husband-and-wife team, our work naturally becomes part of everyday life — and yes, business conversations still make their way into plenty of our evenings.
My role at HMM centers on Squarespace website design. I love creating clean, polished, and visually intentional websites that are not only beautiful, but also easy to use and built with purpose. I’m drawn to the details — the fonts, colors, spacing, flow, and small refinements that help a website feel cohesive and complete. Designing websites gives me the space to do what I do best: thoughtfully shape ideas into something clear, functional, and true to each client’s brand.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with our three kids, walking or hiking in the Cleveland Metroparks, or enjoying a latte at a local coffee shop.

Content & Social Media Assistant
I graduated from Grace College with a bachelor’s degree in marketing (not so recently anymore!). After graduation, I found myself drawn to the process of bringing ideas to life and eventually joined the Howell Made Media team. I enjoy turning vision into reality, seeing ideas come together, and creating things people genuinely enjoy.
Outside of work, you can usually find me playing volleyball, reading a good book, or spending time with the people I love. I’m excited to be part of the HMM team!
